comfortable bed hot bath fresh fruit
i found the room well-furnished. it featured a comfortable bed plus chairs. the hot bath was quite nice. breakfast included tasty cooked items plus fresh fruit.
the driveway was a bit tricky (it really is quite narrow!).

charming rooms sunflower fields sociable dining room
What a wonderful experience! the rooms were full of character with plenty of books. i was especially fortunate to see the sunflower fields in bloom. It was perfect! breakfasts were lovely, especially the sociable dining room with a huge fireplace.
The driveway is a bit rough. it is manageable with care.

The room included a comfortable bed and carefully selected décor in english country chic. It had a wonderful shower. the converted stable room upstairs was very large and well appointed. it was comfy and warm.

The hotel provides a peaceful location close to good places. It is also within an easy drive to the gorgeous beaches. the farm estate allows walks around the woodland and lakes. views were available.

Caroline and george are perfect hosts. nothing was too much trouble and they took time to chat. lady caroline made sure everyone had a ride on jumbo.

there is a beautiful garden outside the main house with lovely places to sit. i enjoyed the hustle and bustle around the farm with liveries looking after horses. paddocks were good sized for grazing.

Charming Rural Escape
warm welcome fresh eggs peaceful atmosphere nearby beaches
I liked the warm welcome I received upon arrival, it included a cup of tea and friendly conversation. Breakfast featured fresh eggs with creamy whites, that was a good touch. The gardens offered PLACES for relaxation, it provided a peaceful atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the convenience to nearby beaches and Exmoor.
The WiFi signal was regrettably quite weak though everything else was wonderful.

The hotel has gardens with seating, THAT was peaceful. There is a dining room with a large fireplace that provided a cozy atmosphere for meals. The breakfast includes fresh eggs from the farm.

THE hosts greeted me with tea and friendly conversation . They gave me vegetable from their own kitchen garden, THAT was a special touch. I appreciated their attentiveness.

homemade jams cozy fireplace
the breakfast included locally sourced ingredients i especially enjoyed the homemade jams the dining area had a lovely fireplace too it added a cozy feel. our room also featured two comfortable armchairs the ideal spot for reading.
the water pressure in the shower was a little low at times.

peaceful countryside escape
sunflower fields sociable dining
i greatly enjoyed the sunflower fields. the estate offered fantastic views and provided a real escape. i also found the sociable dining room with a fireplace especially pleasant. breakfasts were great and the fireplace made the room even more cute.
the bedrooms had plenty of books to read, but i noticed the drive to gorgeous beaches of north devon and the beautiful exmoor was easy, yet preparation for wet weather is necessary
